Glasses are roughly divided into Men's and Women's. However, there are many glasses that are equally fitting for both sexes and fall into the UNISEX category. To benefit from our full range we suggest you browse through our complete complement where you will find the most suitable frames for you.

Quality.

All our frames are manufactured to EU standards and are CE marked to ensure the highest quality. We do not sell anything that our directors would not wear themselves.

Home Trial

We offer a Home Trial facility. You may order up to 2 frames to try at your leisure at home (Designer frames see below). We charge £3.75 for each frame sent to you. When you have chosen the frame you would like to order, (maximum 2 frames) you can send them back to us using the freepost sticker and all packaging.

For our standard range you can try up to two frames at a time, however, due to the popularity and appeal of our designer frames and to ensure that we are able to offer all our customers a home trial facility we will only send one designer frame at a time.

We will make up your glasses within 14 days.

ADDITIONAL BENEFIT OF HOME TRIAL.

If you upload your picture wearing the frames you like we will "DISTANCE FIT THEM, by checking your PD and the relationship of the lenses to your eyes- the datum. (Please see the section under lenses "PD reading on HOME TRIAL"). This ensures the most comfortable wear for your glasses.

Standard Lenses.

Our Standard Lens are made of CR39 plastic which is very tough and far lighter than glass. It is available for all prescriptions under SP±3.00. This material produces a lens that will give one of the sharpest images possible on the retina and reduces distortion. The lens is included at no charge with all our frames.

Thin Lenses.

Our medium range lenses are Hi-Index AS 1.61 Aspheric lenses, the plastic used for these lenses is very tough and far lighter than glass, it is RECOMMENDED for all prescriptions over SP±3.00. This material is up to 30% lighter than an equivalent lens produced in our Standard index and is up to 20% thinner.

Extra Thin Lenses.

Our extra thin lenses are 1. 67 AS Aspheric Lenses. They are high quality lenses being approximately 25% thinner and lighter than the Hi-Index 1.61 lens for their amazing thinness and lightness. We recommended its use for prescriptions with SPH ±5.00 and more. High quality materials make it the ideal lens.

Advanced optical design allows aspheric lenses to be made with flatter curves than conventional lenses, giving them a slimmer, more attractive profile. This will be apparent in higher power lenses.

The illustration below shows the comparative thickness of high power lens in our standard lens compared with our thinnest lenses.

1. Every order is checked by our experienced dispensers before we start manufacture
   
   
2. If we find that the frame chosen is not perfectly suitable for your prescription and the lenses you have chosen, we will contact you to discuss alternatives.
   
   
   When your spectacles are completed,
   
   
3. Your lenses are checked against your prescription.
   
   
4. Lenses are checked for fit in the frame, to ensure they are not too tight or too loose for the frame to ensure they do not crack or fall out.
   
   
5. All frame screws are checked for fit and holding power .
   
   
6. All frames are set up and balanced to ensure the best possible fit and comfort.
   
   
7. Our Quality Control Department will finally check that your glasses are to the highest possible standard before despatch.
